Senior year can be a stressful time. You might be worried about which college or training program to attend, what to study, whether to take a gap year, whether you’ll find scholarships, or leaving home for the first time.
As the year draws to a close, senior assassin can be a great way to have some fun with your classmates and blow off steam.
The game’s origins are unclear, but it seems to have been around for at least a few decades.
In the game, each player has a target. You must take out your target (usually with a soaker or water balloon) before the deadline or be eliminated. This continues until only one player is left.
Senior assassin is a very competitive game but also serves as a lighthearted way to cap off your time as a senior.
The team names are typically funny, so we created a variety of ready-to-use options, keeping humor in mind.

How to Create Your Own Senior Assassin Team Name
Your senior assassin team name should reflect your personality and sense of humor.
If no idea on our list is your perfect fit, you can create your own unique name! Keep the following in mind while brainstorming:
- Use specific terms that relate to your team members and school. Include a reference to your school or your teammates in your team name by using words related to your favorite class, a place in school (like the cafeteria or library), your mascot, or a memorable event. Incorporating parts of your team member’s names can also make for a cool and unusual team name.
- Reflect on your time as a senior. Use senior-related terms as we’ve done in our list above. Descriptive words like “graduates,” “upper class,” “class of,” or “12th grade” give an opportunity to show off the fact that you’ve made it to senior year and are the rulers of the school. You can even use your graduation year for inspiration.
- When all else fails, water works! Senior assassin is a water-centric game — so if you really get stuck for ideas, use words synonymous with or that somewhat relate to water. Terms like “soak,” “spray,” and “drench” can serve as the basis for funny, game-oriented team names.
