April has a CertHE in creative writing. She also spent years working in early childhood in the public school system and is a mother of three, making her an expert in team names related to family, school, and activities like sports.

Over the past decade, she has published several Young Adult novels, along with having a few of her short stories published in romance anthologies.

Her greatest joy has been raising her children and sharing all her creative experiences with them along the way.
